Mountain Huts

Mountain hotels and chalets are accessible only by foot, 2-5 hours hike from your starting point in any of Tatra settlement. Some of them provide low standard lodging and refresment in the mountain terrain.
 

• Chata pri Popradskom Plese
  Mountain hotel by Popradske Pleso tarn, food and lodging is provided year round.
• Mountain Hotel Sliezky Dom
  Standing on the shore of the tarn Velicke pleso, under the highest peak in the Tatras, Gerlachovsky stit.

• Bilikova Chata
  Chalet near Hrebienok is open all year. Mountain Rescue Service station is located there.
• Chata pod Rysmi
  The chalet, after avalanche damage in 1999, was partially rebuilt. The re-constructed chalet had been destroyed by an avalanche again on 28 February 2001!
• Chata pri Zelenom Plese
  Chalet by "Green Tarn" offers lodging and bufet restaurant.
• Chata Solisko
  How to get there from Strbske Pleso.
• Teryho Chata
  This chalet is about a two-hour hike from Zbojnicka chata in the direction of Priecne sedlo.
• Zamkovskeho Chata
  Popular mountain chalet near Studenovodske waterfalls provides lodging and meals. Open throughout the year.
• Zbojnicka Chata
  Provides both sleeping accomodation and food service.
